About Me

My name is Serena Hauser and I am the founder of Unshackled Birthing. First and foremost I am a mother of two young children and a wife. I have had a cesarean as well as a home birth, and it is these two vast experiences that led me to birth work.

 I am a Full-Spectrum Prenatal, Birth, and Postpartum Doula as well as a CLC, and a Midwife's Assistant. I have a passion for birth, lactation, and education that continues to grow every day. It is this passion that has led me to pursue my Political Science degree, in hopes of working on legislation aimed at reducing the maternal and infant mortality rates.

Four times a year I host a Birth Circle which focuses on sharing our birth stories, fellowship, and whole-person listening. I am so happy to teach Child Birth Education Classes as well as a Prenatal Lactation class.
